Anti-inflammatory (reducing joint pain), anti-cancer, anti-depressant, digestive aid, liver detoxification, anti-oxidant, wound healing, blood sugar, anti-bacterial, immune booster, and more

Turmeric “Tea”

  • 1c Coconut Milk
  • 1/2t Turmeric
  • 1/2t Cinnamon
  • 1/8t Nutmeg
  • pinch of black pepper ( said to help in turmeric’s absorption)
  • 1t honey or maple syrup to taste
  • pinch of cayenne pepper

Slowly warm milk with all the ingredients in a sauce pan.  Warming too quickly makes the coconut milk gooey and thick.  Drink warm and enjoy.

  • 2/3c unsweetened cocoa or cacao powder

Preheat oven 350 degrees F.

Grease an 8X8″ pan

Place egg, black beans, avocado, vanilla, and brown sugar in a Vitamin or food processor and blend until smooth.  Add in cacao powder, coconut oil, baking soda, and baking powder blend until smooth.  Batter will be thick, if you need it to be thinner to blend use a tablespoon or two of coconut milk.  The batter needs to be thick to give you a fudgy brownie.  Fold in chocolate chips and spread evenly into baking pan.  Sprinkle the remaining 2T of chips on top.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
